I am a Principal Application Security Engineer at Collins Aerospace working in their Digital Technologies organization. I have a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering and extensive experience helping companies in the IT industry improve their applications’ stability, maintainability and performance while also teaching them how to manage these environments moving forward. After almost 25 years working as a Microsoft Consultant, in 2018, I decided to shift directions and work as a developer/QA engineer for a single company (Collins Aerospace).
In 2022, I shifted direction again, this time moving to an Application Security team within the same organization. This role has allowed me to bring application development skills to the Cyber Security side of the house and work as a technical liaison between dev teams and security/incident response. In addition, I have been able to help the security teams understand more about the challenges of application development automation and process automation.
